Syllabus of Our 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course In Rishikesh, India
The 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in India at Shiv Ganga Yoga & Meditation School begins on the 2nd of each month and continues until the 25th. On arrival day, all yoga aspirants are warmly welcomed in traditional Indian style and assisted with room allocation to help them settle in comfortably.
Following check-in, students visit the school office to complete the necessary registration formalities and discuss any course-related questions. To gently begin the journey, participants are offered sattvic breakfast and lunch, allowing time to relax and adjust to the peaceful surroundings. The day continues with an introductory session where students connect with one another, followed by a brief orientation about the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course.
In the evening, the journey is spiritually inaugurated with a sacred fire ceremony (Havan), during which students take a sankalpa (intention) for their training. This powerful ritual serves as a guiding light throughout the course.
Pranayama – The Art of Breath Control
Pranayama, or breath regulation, is a vital part of yoga that enhances vitality and mental clarity. Students will learn essential breathing techniques such as Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing), Bhastrika (Bellows Breath), Kapalabhati (Skull Shining Breath), and Ujjayi (Ocean Breath) to purify the body and mind while increasing energy levels.
